As part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, Malabar Training College organized a cleaning drive and a medicinal garden initiative at Govt. UP School, Vekkalam. Students, faculty, and community members joined forces to clean the school grounds, removing litter and weeds to create a healthier environment. Simultaneously, they planted various medicinal herbs, such as aloe vera and tulsi, aiming to educate students about traditional medicine and sustainability. The event fostered a sense of community and responsibility, reflecting Gandhiji’s values of cleanliness and environmental care. Participants concluded with a discussion on the significance of their efforts, celebrating both their achievements and the spirit of service.
