This indicates the standard procedures and practices of Malabar Training College, Peravoor for all students enrolling with the College for pursuing varied programs. All students must know that it is incumbent upon them to abide by this Code of Conduct and the rights and responsibilities including the restrictions flowing from it. All Students are requested to be well aware with this Code.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Abide by Act, Statutes, Ordinances, rules, policies, procedures of the College and respect its ideals, vision, mission, cultural practices, and the traditions.
  • Stay in an academic institution with the joyful learning experience.
  • Remain punctual, disciplined and regular in attending classes.
  • Observe modesty in their overall appearance and behaviour.
  • Behave with dignity and courtesy with teachers, staff and fellow students.
  • Act as a role model for the junior students by attaining the highest level of values and morality.
  • Maintain harmony among students belonging to different socio-economic status, community, caste, religion, region or ideology. Any act of discrimination (physical or verbal) based on an individual’s gender, color, caste, race, religious beliefs, region, language, sexual orientation, marital or family status, physical or mental disability, gender identity, etc. shall be avoided.
  • Respect and care for the institutional properties.
  • Observe proper behaviour while on outside activities (educational tour/visit or excursion).
  • Be honest in providing only truthful information on all documents.
  • Maintain the highest standards of academic integrity while presenting own academic work.
  • Help teachers in maintaining the learning environment conducive for all students.
  • Be sensitive to gender issues.

Regular classes will be conducted from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Students should on no account arrive late to the classroom.

Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus and punishable under the Kerala Ragging Prohibition Act.

All expressions of activities which are immoral, antisocial, communal, and anti-national are strictly prohibited in the college campus.

The entry of outsiders into the campus is restricted by the permission of the Principal.

Students are to abide by the motto - Clean Campus Green Campus. The campus is following the Govt. Instruction to undergo green protocol. So, it is strictly prohibited plastic items such as flex, banners, posters, flags, and decorations.
