The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a pivotal framework established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Its main objective is to advance the overall quality of the institution through meticulous performance evaluation, rigorous assessment, and strategic accreditation processes. The IQAC’s central mission is to create and sustain a system that fosters deliberate, consistent, and transformative improvements in institutional performance. This involves developing robust mechanisms for continuous quality enhancement, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards, and promoting a culture of excellence within the college. To achieve these goals, the IQAC undertakes a variety of functions, including: 1. Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly assessing various aspects of institutional performance to ensure alignment with quality standards and identifying areas for improvement. 2. Strategic Planning: Formulating and implementing strategic plans that focus on enhancing academic and administrative processes, thereby driving systemic improvements. 3. Quality Assurance Initiatives: Introducing and supporting initiatives that promote best practices, innovative teaching methods, and effective administrative procedures. 4. Feedback Mechanisms: Establishing feedback systems for students, faculty, and stakeholders to gain insights into institutional performance and areas requiring attention. 5. Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with NAAC’s accreditation criteria and preparing comprehensive reports to facilitate the accreditation process. Through these activities, the IQAC serves as a catalyst for the institution’s growth, enabling it to meet and exceed educational standards while fostering a commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
